White Pearls
White teas are picked in early spring from the youngest shoots of the plant where the mild natural sweetness of new growth is most concentrated.
These first flush peony silver needles are delicately handcrafted into the shape of tiny pearls. White pearls of this exquisite quality are in high demand and becoming exceedingly rare.
With its soft mouth feel and cotton candy sweetness, white teas reflect all of nature's goodness. A perfect daytime tea.

I was very happy to see this tea offered as the silver yen Zhen was my favorite Teavanna tea. I love Silver needles and yen Zhen tea, the latter being very hard to find. This tea had none of that pleasant smell that the Teavanna tea had. It smells kind of old, or like it hasn't been stored properly. When brewed it has practically no taste. It was disappointing.
This makes a wonderful iced tea but am currently loving it as a hot tea (amidst piles of snow in Pacific Northwest). Gentle, comforting tea.
I didn’t think I was going to like a white tea, I usually drink really strong black teas but this was delicious! Incredibly floral, could almost pass as a jasmine tea, naturally sweet in a honeysuckle way
This is one of my favorite teas from Tea Runners. It is sweet and silky and really just lovely. I like it so much that I’ve bought it for a few of my friends as well.
